Alexandra Park, Manchester

 

Alexandra Park is a park in the Whalley Range district of Manchester. It was designed by Alexander Hennell and opened to the public in 1870.
In 1995 the park was listed Grade 2 on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens.
The park is the venue for many events, including Manchester Caribbean Carnival.
Visitors can play football, cricket, tennis, volleyball and even table tennis.
